The expectations of the teachers and administrators working at primary school institutions from physical education lesson

The aim of this research is to do the evaluation of some ideas according to some changements related with the expectation of some teachers and administrator about the physical education subject in which among the obligatory subject in primary schools.The data consist of the ideas of 41 primary school administrators and 225 teachers working in 23 primary schools in four districts of Istanbul.The survey consists of two parts: In the first part, personal and professional data were collected. In the second part, 25 proposals prepared in 5 scale Likert format upon visionary leadership qualifications were listed.The scores were charted and commented through statistical calculations such as frequency analysis, t-test and variance analysis by using SPSS program.The findings reached at the end of the research are like so:It is understood that,1.Most of the teachers and administrator are in the expectation of pupils leaning by living the team work, help fullness and gentlemen content in the classes.2.It is seemed that generally the male teachers have the expectation physical growing must belied heavy on in Physical Education classes, on contrary to this the female teachers have the expectation that the Physical Education classes must have an effect to reach the emotional maturity.3.It is seemed that the people participated to the research believe the necessity of Physical Education classes must contribute to the character development of the pupils.
