The relationship between primary and secondary school teachers'perceptions of organizational ostracism and organizational fit

The aim of the research is to determine the relationship between the perceptions of organizational ostracism and organizational fit of primary and secondary school teachers.The population of this study is consisted of 403 teachers working in primary and secondary schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in the central province of Bartin in the academic year 2016-2017. The population of the study is composed of 21 schools in Bartın city center, 11 of which are primary schools and 10 are secondary schools. All of the 21 schools were reached. The sample of the research is consisted of 237 teachers chosed by appropriate sampling method. The model of the research is the survey model. The survey model is one of the quantitative research methods. The relationship between primary school and secondary school teachers' perceptions of organizational ostracism and organizational fit was investigated in the study, and that's' why the relational survey model was used. According to the results of the research; it was found that the primary school teachers' perceptions of organizational ostracism were "very low" and their organizational fit perceptions were "high". As a result of the research, it can be seen that the secondary school teachers' perceptions of organizational ostracism are "very low" and their organizational fit perceptions are "high". According to the primary school teachers' opinions, there is a negative, medium and statistically significant relationship between organizational ostracism and organizational fit (R = -, 394; p <0,050). According to the primary school teachers' opinions; (R = -, 202; p <0,050) it was found that there was a negative, low, and statistically significant between organizational ostracism and organizational fit (R = -, 202; p <0,050).
