Application of green supply approaches in SME's operating in manufacturing sector: A study in Bursa municipality

The main aim of this study is to make an evaluation on the green supply management applications for SME's involved in manufacturing in Bursa. The data is collected by using convenience sampling method from 103 SME's and analysed with SPSS 21 programme. The priority of this study is to establish the relationship between green applications, the forces driving the SME's to green applications and the obstacles for the green applications with the basic general character of SME's. This relationship is shown by using t test analysis. Later it was aimed to study the factors driving green applications effect on green applications and a model was formed by using the relevant literature. The model so created was tested by using 3 separate multi linear regression analysis. As a result of this study it was established that the financial driving forces are are the most effective driving forces on the green applications. The other important finding of this study is that green applications, the forces driving the SME's to green applications and the obstacles for the green applications varied according to general characteristics of the SME's
