Abstract (EN)

This thesis explores the positive impact of immigrants on supporting mega projects in Türkiye . It focuses on identifying efficient methods to optimize the use of immigrant resources within Türkiye and presents strategies to enhance their economic contributions to the advancement of large-scale projects, which was initiated by Türkiye in 2002 and significantly expanded over time. Despite this expansion, these projects continue to face substantial financial challenges due to high operating costs and sunk costs, alongside a recent decline in their user base. The thesis attributes these challenges to inefficiencies arising from conflicting policies regarding immigrants and visitors, which have led to a long-term financial burden on these projects. The purpose of this thesis is to clarify the positive impact of immigrants on bolstering major projects in Türkiye by providing an in-depth analysis of demographic trends and essential financial data for these projects, as well as examining Türkiye 's immigration policies from an economic perspective. The research utilizes qualitative analysis techniques such as data classification, contextual analysis, and in-depth interpretation to provide valuable insights for policymakers and entrepreneurs on how to leverage immigrants as resources for economic and infrastructural development. Additionally, the study highlights the importance of population diversity in the success of large-scale projects and aims to support strategic decisions that align with Türkiye 's Vision 2025.
