Abstract (EN)

Acquainted with informal logic, which can exist in the dialog and discussions of social life by overcoming the formalism of formal logic has become the aim of the first part of our study. In the rest of the chapter, under the title "P4C and Child", the P4C method, the consept of child and its importance have been explained. Under the title "P4C Method and Informal Logic Context", argumentation theory in informal logic has been mentioned, the Toulmin argumentation model has been explained, and it is stated with scientific data that critical thinking can exist in children from the beginning of preschool. Thus, it has been intuited that the informal logic reasoning form, which prioritizes critical thinking in the Toulmin model, intersects with the logical reasoning forms used by children in P4C sessions. Subsequently, under the title of "Demonstration of Some Story Dialogues Suitable for P4C Sessions with Toulmin Argumentative Method", this relationship has analyzed and concretized. So in our study, which was created using discourse analysis and qualitative content analysis methods, which are prominent qualitative research, the importance of the association of P4C with informal logic as a pedagogical method in which the synthesized concepts of philosophy and children have been postulated.
