Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, the security guard selection model was developed with game theory which is a part of operations research. The contribution of interdisciplinary differences to each other has been benefited. The application of academic education to a real-life problem has been demonstrated. Within the scope of the application, two hundred and three people applied for the job. Twenty-eight people will be recruited as a result of this job application. Applications for security guards were created in the form of matrices, such as armed-unarmed with security ID card, armed-unarmed without a security ID card and in Mavi Akdeniz Security armed-unarmed, with-without a security ID card. After the matrices were created, the game tree utility function was found with probability calculation. The balance was found by analyzing the game tree with the signal game. In the first chapter, the theoretical parts of game theory are explained and exemplified with numerical data for clarity. In the second part, the theoretical part of human resources management is explained. In the third chapter, Mavi Akdeniz Güvenlik's job an application and the practice of hiring security guards are analyzed.
