Abstract (EN)
ABSTRACT Internet has been a part of our daily life. It becomes an inexpensive option to communicate and access the information. In this situation, works has been done, has to be related with Internet. In robotics, control applications via internet has been realized since 1994. In this thesis, robot control methods via internet is investigated by two robot applications. A user connected to internet, can be able to send commands to control a robot anywhere in the world. The first chapter is an introduction to robots and teleoperated systems. Advantages of teleoperation of a robot via internet and samples to similar applications developed at different universities are given. Following chapter gives methods to robot control through the web, especially using CGI. Third chapter describes mechanical hardware and mathematical equations of designed robots. Next chapter focuses on. interface design, hardware and experience of both realized robot systems. Flowcharts of developed softwares are also given in this section. Last chapter is the summary of the work and future studies on this project. Keywords: Robot, control, internet, teleoperation.
