Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the effects of rapid weight loss (HKK) on the competition performance of wrestlers. Elite wrestlers (n=10) over the age of 18 (age x̄: 22.90±5.15 years) competing in the adult category (height x̄: 1.75±78) voluntarily participated in our study. In the study, participants lost 4.3% of their body weight in 5 days. Body fat percentage (BYY), urine density analysis, wingate anaerobic power test, blood lactate and creatin kinase (CK) values were determined, including SDL and KKS, and the results were compared by applying a two-way anova test in repeated measurements. While a decrease was found in the rates of HCC-related VYY (P<0.05), no significant difference was found in urine pH, urine densities (sg), HR and blood CK values (P<0.05). In addition, according to the results of KKO and KKS; Wingate anaerobic power test maximum anaerobic power (MAG), maximum anaerobic capacity (MAC), fatigue index (YI) and Lactate and CK values were not statistically significant (P<0.05). In addition, the results of the main effect of the application were examined; While it was determined that there was a significant difference in MAG values (P<0.04), Lactate values (P<0.00) and IR (%) values (P<0.03), there was no significant difference in MAC values. As a result; It has been determined that HKK does not affect the anaerobic performance of the wrestlers. In addition, when the main effect of the application is examined; While it was seen that the WPS lactate data of the wrestlers were lower than the SDL data, it was determined that the blood CK values of the wrestlers were above the reference values after the application tests.
