Abstract (EN)

After 20 weeks of gestation, preeclampsia is diagnosed when the mother experiences high blood pressure for the first time (systolic blood pressure of 140, diastolic blood pressure of 90) in two events, at least 6 hours apart). However, the stressed female can be affected in up to 10% of pregnancies in non-industrialized countries. The importance of folic acid has emerged recently. This research looked at how preeclampsia relates to folic acid intake and serum levels. Fifty women with different stages of disease will be studied, along with fifty healthy controls of similar age, gender and BMI. Fasting blood glucose, albumin, urea, and creatinine levels were tested. Patients diagnosed with pre-eclampsia who received a long-term folic acid vaccine would make up the first of the three study groups and the second group would consist of 25 women with IBD who had not been vaccinated against folic acid. The third group consisted of 25 pregnant women who were healthy throughout their pregnancy and had a good absorption of folic acid. The following are the instruments to be used following the code and method of operation specified by the manufacturer and exporter, a water bath, a visible spectrophotometer, and an electrolyte meter.
