Abstract (EN)

In terms of economy and politics Iraq is one of the most important countries in middleast. Oil has a great role in Iraq's economy. Natural gas come in the second place. But Iraq's economy lost a lot blood because of the consistently growing war. Iraq is still trying to get her economic power back which was dramatically damaged by civil problems after 2003. Iraq agriculture sector has also improved it self. Whit watering possibilities provided by Fırat and Dicle rivers play a majör rol on that. Iraq's oil never lost its importance. Even though it got damaged during the war in 2003 the oil sector in Iraq still kept growing. Whit the benefit of being neighbors Iraq. Turkey business relations grew large and those two countries became best trade partners to each other. In Turkey's export percentage exports to Iraq takes a big share. There might be some ups and dows because of the politic problems though. Turkey has also been effective on banking sector in Iraq. By opening many new bank branches in Iraq Turkey has shown her existance in this sector too. The export and import between two countries have increased greatly. Turkey- Iraq part nership mostly based on oil sector. Another point that helps Iraq'seconomy to improve is the investments. Especially with the help of foreigner investers this sector has grown in large scale and also keeps growing with the support of the conveniences that were provided for the investers.
