Abstract (EN)
Work, which constitutes a large part of human life, can cause conflict between the roles it undertakes in family life. In today's intense work tempo, conflicts may arise between the roles undertaken by the employees in business and family life. The expectations and needs of the employees also change with the different working conditions. When expectations and needs are not met, work-family, work-family conflicts may occur. In this study, it was aimed to test the relationship between work-family conflict, family-work conflict and intention to leave work. In addition, it was examined whether there is a relationship between the dimensions of work-family, family-work conflict and intention to leave. In this context, survey data were collected from 300 people determined by simple random sampling method working in 166 hotels of Ankara. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS 20.1 program. According to the findings obtained after the analysis; work -family conflict has a significant and positive effect on family-work conflict. Work-family conflict has a significant and positive effect on turnover intention. Family-work conflict has a significant and positive effect on turnover intention. According to the results of the multiple regression analysis performed to calculate the effect of the work-family conflict scale and the family-work conflict scale on the turnover intention scale, it was concluded that the work-family conflict scale explained the turnover intention. Family-work conflict scale, on the other hand, has no effect on intention to leave work.
