Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the effects of workplace loneliness and work alienation on cyberloafing behavior in the workplace. In accordance with this purpose, a study was conducted with 350 public and private sector employees in Kastamonu. It consists of loneliness at work, emotional deprivation and social companionship dimensions. Work alienation has been examined in two dimensions as normlessness and powerlessness. Cyberloafing behavior is classified as serious cyberloafing behavior and minor cyberloafing behavior. Findings from the study showed that normlessness had a negative effect on serious cyberloafing behavior and social companionship had a negative effect on minor cyberloafing behavior.
