Problem of naming Islamic philosophy

There are two elements in the act of naming. The first one is named; the second is the name. Islamic philosophy is a name. There is a meaning corresponding to this name. The main problem of the thesis is the meaning for which Islamic philosophy is used. Islamic philosophy corresponds to the current thought that emerged in a specific date and place and found its expression mainly in Arabic. However, Islamic philosophy has appeared in the modern period, not in the classical period, corresponding to this meaning. In the contemporary period, besides Islamic philosophy, names such as Arab philosophy, Arabic philosophy, Muslim philosophy, Islamic thought were also made by orientalists. In return, in the classical period, in other words, the period that began with the translation movement and continued to the end of the 13 centuries, both working and meaning was different from the 19 centuries and after that time that is the modern centuries, according to İslamic philosophers. Islamic philosophers preferred philosophy instead of Islamic philosophy, and the concepts of wisdom and science synonymously with it. The meaning corresponding to these names is the systematic thought that aims to reach the truth with reason, whose primary sources are Ancient Greek and Islamic religion and thought. We encounter the concepts of philosophy, wisdom, and science in the works of the saints. In addition to these names in ṭabaqāt works, whereas mentioning Kindī for the philosopher of Arabs, al-Fārābī, Avicenna, Averroes, and Suhrawardī are mentioned as Islamic philosophers.
