Abstract (EN)
Technology has become an integral part of our lives since it is emergence. Undoubtedly, one of the main reasons for this is that technology has made social life much easier. Internet technology, which initially entered our lives with web 1.0, has developed over time and has become three-dimensional through the development of web 3.0. Metaverse technology, one of the possibilities provided by three-dimensional technology, offers unique and novel experiences to its users. Metaverse is defined as a reflection of the real world in the virtual world. This Metaverse offers services in many areas such as virtual real estate and clothing stores. In addition, in this universe, there are digital certificates called NFTs, which are unique and unalterable. Virtual assets such as an audio file, video and image can be NFTs. Transactions in the Metaverse are carried out with cryptocurrencies. Whether digital assets in the Metaverse can be considered as goods in terms of Islamic law is a matter of debate. Likewise, there are different opinions on whether cryptocurrencies used in exchanges in this universe can be treated as currencies in circulation today. Islamic jurists have raised concerns about whether the virtual goods in the Metaverse can be included in the concept of real goods, the lack of necessary legal regulations regarding the purchases made in this universe, and the risks inherent in the environment. For this reason, while some Islamic jurists do not favor the transactions made in this universe due to the uncertainties surrounding it, other Islamic jurists argue that studies should be carried out to eliminate these problems in order to keep up with the advanccements of the era. They suggest seeking ways to use these Technologies in a beneficial manner instead of avoiding them, as they are likely to become integral to lives.
