This thesis examines certain jurisprudential rulings related to lying within Islamic law, categorized under the headings of acts of worship (ʿibādāt), social transactions (muʿāmalāt), and punishments (ʿuqūbāt). In the study, rulings concerning lying found in Islamic jurisprudential literature, particularly the Qur'an and Hadiths, are explored, and the differing approaches of various Islamic legal schools are analyzed comparatively.
