Ismail Hakkı Bursevî Nakdü'l-Hâl (75a – 150b) analysis – text

Ismail Hakkî Bursevî is one of the most productive writers in the history of Ottoman copyright. As a mystic writer, he has a lot of vâridât works, too. The vârid means "flowing into the heart without a person's effort and intention". This prepared study is the text translation of Nakdü'l-Hâl (76a – 150b) composed by Ismail Hakkî at 1721 – 1722. The writer's copy of this book is missing. Our copy is committed to paper by a copyist and registered on TY 2153 number in the Library of Rare Books at Istanbul University. To get the best text we made a comparison with the copy registered on TY 2161 number in the same library and the copy registered on 1515 number in the Library of Süleymaniye Manuscript Books at the section of Atıf Efendi. For Nakdü'l-Hâl's transfer to the academic environment; First, the life story of Bursevî was conveyed in general terms, and then a section about the deliberate meaning of the text was created. And finally, the transcription of the text is added with the original text.
