Abstract (EN)

The current study was conducted in the consulting clinic for chest and respiratory diseases in the city of Shirqat during the period from 2020 to 2021. The aim was to find fungal and bacterial infections associated with tuberculosis. The study included a group of patients suspected of infection with tuberculosis and aspergillosis by examining sputum samples using the Microscope device, direct examination method KOH 10%, Acid fast stain, Gram Stain and cultured on the medium of Sabouraud Dextrose and Agar Potato Dextrose Agar (PDA) and using (API) test to know the type of Mushroom, bacteria type and sensitivity test to antifungal and bacterial, the results showed a group of samples infected with tuberculosis and aspergillosis and another group of samples were opportunistic fungal infections and bacterial infections, as they diagnosed Aspergillus fumigatus, Aspergillus nigar, Tuberculosis and bacillus. It was found through the current study that opportunistic fungi and bacteria isolated from lung infections have an effective role in causing the disease.
