Abstract (EN)
The rock, known throughout Isparta in the Lakes Region as köfke, is a welded tuff specific to the Gölcük volcanic formation, occurring geologically and geographically in the southern parts of the region, and varies between light yellow and beige tones due to the mineralogical components that make up its structure. Köfke is little known due to its physical and static properties and a limited usage area in architecture, landscaping works and cement industry throughout the city, as well as being a local resource. A significant part of the minerals that make up the structure of volcanic rocks are described as ores, with their economic values shaped according to their reserve areas and functional properties throughout our country. These minerals are accepted as basic raw materials in industrial ceramics and artistic application fields and are used in mud, glaze and slip bodies. Volcanic rocks with various mineral structures can be seen in Isparta, which has a geologically rich surface area with the Gölcük volcanism. The mineralogical harmony of rocks on their ceramic bodies has entered our literature in interdisciplinary studies carried out on some rocks that play a role in the geomorphological formation of the region. Within the scope of the study, the kofke stone obtained from the region called Dereboğazı locality, which is formed at the 12th km of the Isparta-Antalya highway, at the exit of the central village of Sav, was subjected to various processes in the experimental process and was prescribed with ceramic lining components. In order to determine the normal condition of the prepared soil-added primer recipes on the applied surface, they were applied on test plates, their suitability at temperatures between 900 - 950 ◦C was investigated, and the obtained technical data were evaluated and interpreted with personal applications.
