The effects of differences and clashes among Jewish groups in Israel upon Israeli political system

Identity politics are much more important and effective on social upheavals than any other economic development. Palestinian question is not the only case of the Jewish politics. One of the main question is the debatable case with the Jewish identity problem that has been rooted in deep consciousness of the Jewish society for the time being. Ethnic and cultural diferences of Jewish groups in Israel have been effective on its domestic politics. Ethnic and cultural diversity of Israel composes Ashkenazi Jews emigrated from Europe (Germany), Mizrahims living in the Middle East (North Africa-Jerusalem) and Sephardic Jews emigrated from Spain-Portugal. Therefore it is clear that Israel is not a state formed of only one ethnic identity. Moreover Israeli governments most usually are formed due to the balance derived from this ethnic and cultural diversity. Living a long history in diaspora-shattered geographically-, Israeli society formed a complicated structure. This study analyses the differences and conflicts of this complicated and shattered society pre-Israeli state and after its foundation. Later, the effects of the differences and conflicts on today's Israeli political system are going to be studied.
