Aimed at determining primary school teachers perception towards discipline crimes and discipline punishments

This research is aimed at determining primary school teachers? perception towards discipline crimes and discipline punishments. The research comprises 5 main parts; introduction, concerning literature, method, findings and interpretation and result, discussion and recommendations.The universe of the research is the 67725 teachers serving at primary schools in Istanbul in 2007-2008 Education Year. The participants are 215 teachers selected randomly from 18 schools in Pendik and Kartal districts. Used in the research were a personal information form and a scale developed by the researcher. The data obtained were assessed through the Crosstab and Factor Analyzing Technique and the relation among the variables was tried to be discovered.In this research, whether teachers? perception levels altered in terms of their sex, rank, age, and education institution was tried to be determined and the research results were compared.Key Words: Management, Education Management, Discipline Punishment, Teacher
