Temujin (Genghis), the first child of Yesügey and Höelün, was born near the Onon River during his father's struggle with the Tatars. The period from his birth to adulthood, when he was the sole ruler of the steppes of Central Asia with his heroism, is of great importance for the Mongols. In the works written after Genghis Khan's death, it is seen that his legendary lineage is mentioned as well as his life full of victories. The work we are working on; It is a Cengiz-nâme found in East Turkistan and written in Chagatai Turkish. Works; It is in the Jarring Collection at Lund University in Sweden. In the introduction part of our four-part study, Gunnar Jarring and his collection will consist of information about the Mongols, Genghis Khan and Genghis-names. In addition, information about the examined copy of the work is included. In the analysis section, the phonetic and morphological features of the text were examined, and the determined language features were explained with examples. In the text section, the transcribed text of the work in Arabic letters was created. In the index section, the places where the words in the work are mentioned in the text, their meanings and origins are shown. In the conclusion part, a comparison was made between the Cengiz-nâmes. Similarities and differences were revealed and the importance of this study, which will take its place among the Cengiz-names, was tried to be revealed. In addition, the archaic features identified in the text, the features related to Oghuz Turkish, New Uyghur Turkish and East Turkestan dialect were given and the vocabulary was revealed.
