Abstract (EN)

The CMS (Compact Muon Solenoid) detector will observe high transverse momentumjets produced in the ? nal state of proton-proton collisions at the center of mass energy of14 TeV. These data will allow us to measure jet shapes, de ? ned as the fractional transversemomentum distribution as a function of the distance from the jet axis. Since jet shapesare sensitive to parton showering processes they provide a good test of Monte Carlo eventsimulation programs. In this thesis we present a study of jet shapes reconstructed usingcalorimeter energies where the statistics of all distributions correspond to a CMS data setwith 10 pb?1 of integrated luminosity. We compare the predictions of the Monte Carlogenerators PYTHIA and HERWIG++. In this work we present a study of jet shapesreconstructed using calorimeter energies.
