Abstract (EN)
Increasing women's entrepreneurship is crucial for economic growth, social equality, and social welfare. Therefore, analyzing the determinants of women's entrepreneurship plays a critical role. Within this framework, the aim is to examine the socio-economic Factors affecting women's entrepreneurship between 2005 and 2023 based on the selected examples of developed and developing countries. Since the entrepreneurship variable contains extreme values, that is, the difference between its minimum and maximum values is high, quantile regression analysis was used as a method to achieve more accurate prediction results. As a result, it is concluded that there is a statistically significant difference in slope for the variables of per capita income, fertility, age dependency, education, added value of the services sector and unemployment in countries where female entrepreneurship is at low and medium levels. It has been determined that the variables in which there is a statistically significant slope difference in the countries where women's entrepreneurship is at the median and top levels are the per capita income and fertility variables.
