Abstract (EN)

10-35% of females goes trough urogenital system infection in any period of their lives. The infection reoccurs in 50% of the females who have suffered from urinary tract infection before. The frequency of bacteriuria in mature females is around 10-15%. The frequency of asymptomatic bacteriuria during pregnancy is around 2-5%. Asymptomatic bacterial pyelonefrit may cause such adverse effects as premature birth, low birth, overweighted birth and newborn sepsis in pregnant women. Urogenital infections can be observed due to bacteria and many other reasons as well.In our research, 479 female patients with suspected urogenital infection and their urine samples were examined between the dates 12.11.2011-07.01.2012 Candida, Gardnerella vaginalis, Ureoplasma urealiticum, Mycoplasma hominis, Trichomonas vaginalis and Escherichia coli were detected in these samples. The presence of microorganisms was detected in 189 of servikovaginal and urine samples out of 479, which were taken from female patients. With the following amounts; 12 Candida, 48 Gardnerella vaginalis, 107 Ureoplasma urealiticum and 35 Escherichia coli. However, in some samples more than one microorganism was detected. For instance, Ureoplasma urealiticum with E. coli in 9 patients, Gardnerella vaginalis with E. coli in 3 patients, Candida spp. with E. coli in one patient. Mycoplasma hominis and Trichomonas vaginalis were invertigated in 479 patients yet their presence was not identified. The distribution of the 12 Candida whose presence was identified was 5 Candida albicans and 7 Candida spp.Antibiotic susceptibility test was implemented to all 107 patients with Ureoplasma urealiticum. All patients were observed to be sensitive to Tetrasiklin and Doksisiklin antibiotics. 78 of the female patients are found to be resistant to Siprofloksasin and 47 of them are resistant to Ofloksasin antibiotics.Antibiotic susceptibility test was implemented to all 35 patients with E. coli. All patients were observed to be sensitive to Ertapenem, Gentamisin, Amikasin, Sefoksitin, and İmipenem antibiotics. 35 of them are resistant to Colistin and 30 of them are resistant to Ampisilin antibiotics.Key Words : Candida albicans, Gardnerella vaginalis, Ureoplasma urealiticum, Escherichia coli, Trichomonas vaginalis
