A total of 297 female athletes, active in team sports or individual sports, have participated in competitions for at least two years. The data were analyzed using SPSS 27 and Lisrel. In the study, appropriate test method was selected in accordance with the normality test result. The normality test for scale scores was interpreted with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, as the number of samples would be large. In addition, in the decision process regarding the distribution of data, skewness and kurtosis values were also used. In order to determine the relationship of the variables to each other in the process of data analysis, Pearson correlation analysis was first carried out and DFA analysis was carried out to determine the validity of the measurement tools in our research. Process macro analysis was conducted to test the moderating role of fat talk in the relationship between media attitude and body dissatisfaction. Within the framework of the research, the moderating role of fat talk in determining body dissatisfaction of media attitude in female athletes has been provided and contributed to the literature of sports and exercise psychology.
