Relationship between women's positive pshychogical capital and career perception: Political parties in Eskisehir

Positive psychologic capital is a term defining who the individuals are and who might be behind the personal development. Positive psychologic capital including sub-dimensions as optimism, hope, endurance, self-sufficiency has the potential to make a great contribution to personal development. The purpose of this research is to study if there is a relation between components of the positive pyschologic capital and career perception of the women in political platform. In addition to this, the research aims to evaluate the relation between demographic variables and these variables. A questionnaire study has been carried out with 135 woman members of political parties in Eskişehir, to examine the relation between positive psychologic capital and their career perception. It is intended to explain the datum of the research carried out by using Psychologic Capital Scale and questions intended to evaluate career perception, demographic variables through statistical analysis, the relation between sub dimensions of positive psychological capital and career perception. According to the results of the studies, there is a positive and mild relation between all sub dimensions of positive psychologic capital and career perceptions in political parties where women are members. Besides, it is observed that the sub dimensions in question do not effect women's career perception in political platform in general.
