Abstract (EN)
In this study, the life of a poet using the pen name Kadıoğlu, whose existence was previously unknown in the sources, and his masnawi (a form of Turkish poetry) titled Qisas-e Anbiya (1b-181b) written in verse form, have been examined. This work has two copies, and the M copy is considered as the primary version. The discrepancies in the M copy have been corrected by referring to the A copy, and the text of the examined portion of Qisas-e Anbiya has been compiled. In the introduction section, information about the term "kıssa" (meaning narrative or story), Quranic narratives, the formation of the genre of qisas al anbiya (tales of prophets), and the issue of Isra'iliyat in qisas al anbiya has been provided. In the first section, general information about qisas al anbiya in Turkish literature has been presented. In the second section, poets who use the pen name "Kadıoğlu" in Turkish literature have been identified, and their lives, works, and poetic careers have been examined based on the works they have written. In the third section, general information about Kadıoğlu's poetic work Qisas-e Anbiya (1b-181b) is provided, followed by an analysis of its form, content, and stylistic features. At the end of the section, a comprehensive summary of the text is included. The fourth section focuses on the characteristics of the two identified copies of the work, highlighting the considerations taken into account during the reconstruction of the text, and presents the transcribed version of the text.
