Kadro circle before Kadro

This study focuses on the writers of Kadro magazine, Şevket Süreyya Aydemir, Vedat Nedim Tör, İsmail Hüsrev Tökin, Yakup Kadri Karaosmanoğlu wrote in Muhit magazine and Hakimiyet-i Milliye newspapers before this magazine was founded, and argues that the views of these names can be described as the nationalist left. (rather than inspired by left or Marxism) Primary sources of newspapers and magazines used in this study were obtained from the National Library, the Library of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, the Istanbul University Newspaper Archive, and the Ankara University Newspaper Archive. Newspapers and magazines were mostly used in the study, but secondary sources and online sources were also used.
