Abstract (EN)
In this study, 25,27-(dipropilmorfolinasetamido)-26,28-dihidroksi calixarene organic materials was selected for the fabrication of LB thin film and chemical gas sensor applications. The characteristics of the calixarene LB films were evaluated by UV–Vis and quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) measurement systems. The mass deposited on the quartz crystal per bilayer was predicted as 2028.80 ng (7.65 ng mm−2) for the calixarene LB film. The sensing abilities of this LB film towards the development of room temperature organic vapor sensing devices were also examined. QCM system was fixed to investigate vapor sensing performance of calixarene LB films against to harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The calixarene LB thin films were more sensitive to dichloromethane than other vapors.
