Abstract (EN)
Physical training and sports activities play an important role in students? mental and physical development. Studies aiming at improving the quality of such activities provided by schools will improve the educational quality as well as the success of students.This study aims at comparing physical education and sportive activities provided by state schools and private schools, and evaluate the quality of such activities. Moreover, it is tried to gather information about high school students? conception of physical education and sport activities.According to some important findings of this study, both state school and private school students? conception of performance in terms of physical education and sport activities has been found to be lower than their expectation from these activities. Furthermore,it is also observed that the students don?t make use of the sportive activities except for the physical education lessons.
