Abstract (EN)
In this study it was investigated that the effect of aqueous extracts of larch wood on the type 2 diabetes with STZ formed female Sprague Dawley rats. In the study 50 rats were used and were taken Ethical permission for these rats. These rats at the start of the study, the initial weight and initial blood glucose levels were measured. Rats except in the control group, 45 mg / kg STZ level applied was allowed diabetes formation. One week after the diabetes, it is taken up with 100 g larch wood 1 L of tap water and the aqueous extract was prepared. This aqueous extract, during the study, one week after the occurrence of diabetes, to the group of diabetes plus extract was given. During the experimental period, all the groups weekly blood sugar levels and weight were measured. When blood glucose levels will be measured, the feed of rats in the group were reduced. According to experiment results, which showed a steady trend in blood sugar control group of rats and observed a steady increase in weight change, in the ratsof diabetic group, it was determined that the continued rise in blood sugar and weight loss. The rats in the diabetic + extract group, the rise in blood sugar after STZ injection and observed weight loss. In the weeks after administration of aqueous extract was found stability in reducing the blood sugar levels and weight gain. Aqueous extracts of the group, the biochemical analysis of the liver and kidney tissues, total protein, GSH, palmitic (16: 0), stearic (18.0), oleic (18: 1, n-9), linoleic (18: 2 n-6), arachidonic (20: 4 n-6), docosahexaenoic acid (22: 6 n-3) was determined to be close to the control group values. MDA, GSSG, stearic, linoleic, and arachidonic and docosahexaenoic acid levels were found to be higher in the diabetic group. Moreover, the aqueous extract treated group tissues, SOD, CAT, GST, GR and GSH-Px enzymes as the enzyme activity was found to be high. Consequently, larch wood materials from said water phase, type 2 diabetes through the bloodstream of rats were established, effect on target tissues such as liver and glucose in blood is concluded that allows to take these tissues and blood glucose was concluded that ensures discharge these tissues. Aqueous extracts in the groupof the rats, especially glycogen in the liver and palmitic acid (16: 0)'s higher, supports this idea. Rat in extract-treated diabetic group, the high amount of glycogen in the liver are associated with taking blood glucose in the liver tissue. Taken into liver tissue blood glucose are stored as glycogen in the liver tissue to a certain level, the remaining part is directed to the synthesis of lipid. Palmitic acid and cholesterol is the end product of lipid synthesis. On Type 2 diabetic female rats, observed beneficial effects of aqueous extracts of larch wood to bring out more clearly this effect, identification of the substances in water and its effects on tissues in molecular terms should be examined in more detail. Key Words: Sprague Dawley rats, Type 2 diabetes, pine wood, blood glucose, glycogen, lipid synthesis, antioxidant enzymes.
