Abstract (EN)
The Kargı Dam site, which is planned to construct on the Kızılırmak River between Osmancık and Kargı towns of Çorum province for energy production and reservoir area are situated on Tertiary basalt rocks and Quaternary alluvium.The purpose of this thesis, is to investigate the permeability of lithologies located dam foundation and its vicinity. For this aim, geological and permeability features, of the formations have been described by field and laboratory works. 14 boreholes are drilled at the Dam site, Lugeon and Infiltration tests are conducted during drilling. Collected data are evaluated and permeability features of units are determined.
