Abstract (EN)
Morchella mushrooms are generally defined as ubiquitous mushrooms. Morchella mushrooms have been found in the pine, fir and oak forests in different locations in Kastamonu province which constitutes the study area between altitudes of 600-1550 m. The subject of the study was conducted in Kastamonu province in April-May 2018 in Kastamonu Center, Ağlı, Araç, Bozkurt, Daday, Devrekani, Hanönü, Taşköprü and Tosya districts. As a result of the molecular analysis of these 6 different morphologically different samples, Morchella elata and Morchella importuna were found to be 2 different species. In this study, morphological and molecular definitions of Morchella species grown in various locations in Kastamonu region were made and their phenolic compounds and antioxidant properties were investigated. Accordingly, high antioxidant activity and highest phenolic compound content were determined in the samples collected from Küre Kösreli site named as KG-1.
