Adverbial verbs in Kazakh Turkish (Historical analysis)

Language is a living organism with a complex structure. This organism is not static but dynamic because it is subject to evolutionary processes. Just like biological evolution, the evolution of language progresses over a long period of time. In this process, the meanings and functions of structures in the language change and develop over time, demonstrating the vitality and flexibility of the language. It is known that language has an ever-changing structure and the main reason for this change is development. Grammatical structures are important in the development of language. One of these grammatical structures is gerunds. Adverb-verbs are adverbs derived from verbs and the actual verb in the predicate position is the situation, time, reason, etc. described in different ways. Adverbial verbs have contributed to the enrichment of sentence structure by playing an important role in making Turkish dialects have a wider range of expression and preventing sentence inflation. Like other grammatical structures, gerunds also show various changes over time. The most important reason for these changes is that Turkish dialects continue their development by spreading over a wide geographical area, interacting with various cultures, and becoming enriched. In this study, in the context of grammatical features, gerunds in Kazakh Turkish and gerunds in Historical Turkish dialects were examined diachronically and the changes and developments of gerunds from past to present were examined.
