Abstract (EN)

Different technical and musical markers in sheet music and their reflections on practice directly affect the performance of violin works both technically and in terms of interpretation. In violin works; Different uses of bows, finger numbers, nuances, and other musical instruments can differentiate the performance technique and musical interpretation of the violin, which can also have effects on the quality of violin education. Naturally, the differences in the reflection and interpretation of the characteristics of the violin virtuosos regarding the period and composer of the works they perform also differentiate and enrich the performance and interpretation options, and therefore the violin literature and education. The diversity in the notation and audio/video recorded interpretations of the works written for the violin is a rich source for the comprehension and performance of these works. In this study, the notations and audio/visual sources selected from these sources were examined with a scientific and practical approach and the options, differences and results regarding the performance, interpretation and violin education in the violin were tried to be revealed.
