Abstract (EN)
Mersin, Adana, Antalya and Hatay cities are important at early fresh apricot cultivation. It were started to plant to new orchard with seedlings of Aurora apricot cultivar which brought from foreign contries. But growers have complained for low yield because of it wasn?t use suitable pollenizers. With this study, it is aimed to determine suitable pollenizers for Aurora which determined as incomplatible with previous studies. It were done pollinization to determine suitable pollenizers for Aurora apricot cultivars with local and foreign apricot cultivars. Some fruit quality characters and fruit set ratios was measured. As results of this study, Ninfa, Pisana, Bulida, Cagrıbey and Precoce de Colomer apricot cultivars came to fore as most suitable pollenizers to Aurora with regard to fruit set. Şahinbey, Palsteyn, Precoce de Tyrinthe, Feriana, Precoce de Colomer and Bulida cultivars came to fore with regard to fruit weight, Antonio Errani, Sahinbey, Precoce de Tyrinthe, Bebeco, Precoce de Colomer, Pisana and Ninfa cultivars came to fore with regard to TTS. Precoce de Colomer, Pisana and Ninfa came to the fore as pollenizers.
