Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study was to interpret seismic reflection data, litohological analysis using well log data and distribute lithological information which comes from from well log interpretation to seismic cube for detect prospect sandstone layers via neural network method in Kerry gas field, New Zealand. Reservoir Farewell formation top and intersecting main faults were interpreted in this study. Velocity model was created using sonic log and checksot data and formation top, main faults and seismic cube were converted from time to depth using velocity model. Gamma ray, neutron and density log were used for lithological analysis and for more detailed lithology log, interpreted lithological log and other logs were simulated via artificial neural network method. As a final step, detailed lithological log and seismic cube were used input and seismic lithology cube was created by articifial neural network method. This seimic lithology cube can use to generate reservoir simulation model and determine new well location studies.
