Ki̇tāb-i Mevlūd-i Muṣṭafā (Review-transcription-index-facsimile)

The Turkish language is among the richest languages of the world in terms of the language materials it offers and the opportunity to express feelings and thoughts. Since the writing of the Orkhon inscriptions were written, this richness has continued in almost every period and region, and the Turkish language has become spoken and written in a very wide area. One of these fields where the Turkish language finds a living space is the Anatolian field. With the Turks' conquest of Anatolia, the Turkish language found the opportunity to develop in the Anatolian field on the basis of Oghuz Turkish. The Oghuzs have produced many manuscripts and printed works in this language since the 13th century. Many studies and examinations have been made and continue to be made on these works that are given today. In this study, the phonetic and morphological features of the mawlid text called Kitāb-ı Mevlūd-i Muṣṭafā were emphasized, and so a new one was tried to be added to these studies. In the study, language analysis was made on the work called Kitāb-ı Mevlūd-i Muṣṭafā, which was written in the first quarter of the 16th century. The study consists of seven sections: Introduction, Review, Conclusion, Bibliography, Transcription, Index, Facsimile. In the Introduction part, the tradition of Mawlid in our literature and the importance of the Mawlid were evaluated, the physical features of the work were introduced, the purpose, importance and method of the study were mentioned. In the Review section, which constitutes the main part of the study, the grammatical features of the text were tried to be revealed. This section consists of three parts: Spelling, Phonetic and Morphological Features. In the Spelling features section, the text was evaluated in terms of spelling features. In the Phonetic features section, the phonetic harmonies and phonetic events determined in the text were examined diachronically and simultaneously. In the Morphological features section, the affixes, inflectional affixes and word types determined in the text were evaluated in terms of their functions. In the Transcription section, the work was rewritten using transcription letters. In the Index section, the grammatical index of the work was made and the equivalents of the words were tried to be given. In the Facsimile section, the facsimile of the work was given. In the Conclusion section, the results were explained; all sources used in the study were given in the Bibliography section.
