Abstract (EN)
Linear regression is a frequently used method in statistical data analysis. Linear regression is a method used for linear and continuous variables. The relationship between a dependent variable and one or more independent variables may be expressed with a mathematical model. If the mathematical model in question is a linear function, this model is called Linear Regression Model.Whether the relationship between the dependent variable and the independent variables is linear or not can be determined visually with a scatter diagram. A linear regression model with one dependent and one independent variable is called Simple Linear Regression Model, and a linear regression model with one dependent and more than one independent variable is called Multiple Linear Regression Model. In this study, the linear regression model and its subheadings are presented.
