Abstract (EN)

In this study, in order to accelerate fat burning and to increase muscle mass, commonly used conjugated linoleic acid and L-carnitine are prepared as a single liquid dosage form in safflower oil. It has been attempted to present an innovative study to produce locally and support such nutritional supplements which are imported in our country. Reliability of quality control studies which is for 9c,11t conjugated linoleic acid, 10t,12c conjugated linoleic acid and L-carnitine supported by analytical validations and specific methods are described for the application of those quality control studies. The chemical stability of 9c,11t conjugated linoleic acid, 10t,12c conjugated linoleic acid and L-carnitine as a active ingredient has been proven by 6 month short term chemical stability testing the product prepared in the form of suspension, in an incubator which is set 40 °C ± 2 °C and 75 % ± 5 % humidity. Besides, particle size, zeta potential, viscosity, sedimentation volume and microbiological analysis has been made for physical stability testing of the product suspension conserved for 6 months in an incubator which is set 40 °C ± 2 °C and 75 % ± 5 % humidity and physical stability was proven. Later on, animal experiments are planned for the formulation prepared in the form of suspension.
