Abstract (EN)

This research examines the effects of investments in the cosmetics sector on employment. The cosmetics industry is a dynamic sector that responds to consumer demands with a wide range of products and creates a significant impact on the global economy. However, the effects of investments in this sector on employment have not yet been adequately examined. This research aims to clarify the employment creation capacity of investments in the cosmetics sector and their role on economic growth. This research was designed with the document analysis technique, one of the qualitative research methods. The research focused on the concept and theories of employment. Information was given about the situation of the workforce in Turkey. Information was given about the concept of investment and its theoretical structure. Additionally, information was given about the impact of cosmetics sector investments on employment. This research examines the general structure and economic importance of the cosmetics industry and reveals why investments in the sector are so attractive. According to the research results, it has been determined that cosmetics industry investments have a positive impact on employment figures. In other words, investments in the cosmetics industry reduce unemployment and increase employment. Key Words: Cosmetics Industry, Investments, Employment, Labor Market Dynamics, Economic Development
