An analysis of Kral Şakir cartoon in terms of values ​​education

Value, which is a sociological phenomenon; It is a lifelong identity that is learned by being influenced by family, interpersonal relationships and other factors. Values education starts in the family and is shaped by the environment and becomes systematic with the school. Values education is also tried to be given with cartoons, which are one of the important elements of the children's world. This research reveals whether the ten root values in 2019 TDÖP are included in the Kral Şakir cartoon; It has been done in order to reveal how often the values are expressed. An accessible sample was used by accessing all parts of the cartoon, which was structured on the basis of document analysis, one of the qualitative research methods; For this reason, sampling has not been taken. Content analysis was used to analyze the data. As a result of the research, root values that are tried to be gained frequently; helpfulness (f=427), responsibility (f=188) and honesty (f=95).
