Factors that play a role in the decisions of cryptocurrency investors

Cryptocurrencies continue to attract interest in the world since the moment they were first released. Cryptocurrencies, which emerged with the idea of an alternative payment method, have attracted the attention of investors thanks to their rapidly increasing value day by day. While many investors who want to make money quickly are interested in these currencies, investors who do not have any information about these currencies have also started to invest in these currencies. There are many question marks regarding the future of these currencies, and these questions are frequently discussed by various groups. Traditional finance is based on the idea that investors act rationally, based on full information, when making their decisions. On the other hand, behavioral finance is based on the fact that investors do not act rationally when making investment decisions, but make decisions under the influence of some environmental, sociological and psychological factors. The existence of anomalies in the market also confirms this situation. Although the cryptocurrency market is a new market, it attracts many investors from different parts of the world. Since it is a new market, investors' perspectives on this market are important. Investors' view of this market has a direct impact on the future state of the market. The aim of this study is to determine the views and perspectives of cryptocurrency investors towards cryptocurrencies. A survey form was created for this purpose and applied to cryptocurrency investors.
