Abstract (EN)

The aim of this thesis is to investigate the moderating role of innovation in the relationship between crisis management and competitive advantage. Are businesses that practice effective crisis management more competitive? How does being innovative affect this relationship? To answer these questions, the research was conducted with textile manufacturers registered in the Denizli Chamber of Industry. This thesis consists of four chapters. The first chapter covers crisis management, the second chapter competitive advantage, and the third chapter innovation. In the first three chapters, these topics are examined within a theoretical framework, while the fourth chapter presents data analysis and findings. This research was carried out using a quantitative design, and the survey method was employed as the data collection tool, incorporating scales for crisis management, competitive advantage, and innovation. The study examined the extent to which textile companies registered with the Denizli Chamber of Industry implement crisis management practices and how these practices affect their competitive advantage. Furthermore, it analyzed how their level of innovation influences this relationship. To test the proposed hypotheses, established and validated scales were applied. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS and AMOS statistical software packages. According to the results obtained, there is a positive relationship between crisis management and competitive advantage, and innovation significantly shapes this relationship.
