Abstract (EN)

Within the scope of the master thesis; In order to increase the stability and durability of polymer-containing tubular membranes (BTPIM), the use of membranes produced in Cr-VI removal and selective separation in continuous flow processes has been optimized experimentally. Metal transport efficiencies, capacities of the produced BTPIMs were investigated in Cr (VI) transport experiments from acidic aqueous solution medium. BTPIMs having different physicochemical properties were produced by changing the component ratios and the parameters affecting Cr (VI) transport; extractant ratio, membrane thickness, plasticizer type and ratio is optimized. The stability of the transport process in continuous flow processes, the carrying capacity of the membrane and the selectivity to other heavy metal ions added to the solution medium were determined by experiments with BTPIMs having optimum composition ratios. Finally, the relationship between surface properties and metal transport of BTPIMs was elucidated using surface characterization techniques based on SEM, AFM, and contact angle measurement.
