Abstract (EN)

In this study, we aimed to synthesis of new organic dyes having fluorescent properties and biological activities which will be used for sensor application. For this purpose hydroxy, methyl, naphthyl, methoxy and amino group containing coumarin derivatives have been synthesized and their structures were identified by elemental analysis techniques, FT-IR and 1H-NMR spectroscopic techniques. In addition, evaluation of the visible absorption and emission properties of the coumarin derivatives were carried out in different solvents. Two of the compounds synthesized coumarin derivatives, 4-methyl-2H-benzo[h]chromen-2-one (C-1) and 7-methoxy-4-methyl-2H-chromen-2-one (C-2) were oxidize to aldehyde with selenic acid Coumarin-oxazol-5-one derivatives were synthesized with this aldehyde and several aryl glycine by Erlenmeyer reaction. Synthesised compounds are purified by column chromotography and recrystallisation techniques. The photophysical properties of the synthesized derivatives were investigated by UV-vis absorption and emission spectroscopy in solutions and immobilized phases. In order to evaluate the availability of (4Z)-4-[(7-methoxy-2-oxo-2H-chromen-4-yl)methylene]-2-phenyl-1,3-oxazol-5(4H)-one (CAZ-5), (4Z)-4-[(7-methoxy-2-oxo-2H-chromen-4-yl)methylene]-2-(1-naphthyl)-1,3-oxazol-5(4H)-one (CAZ-6) and (4Z)-4-[(7-methoxy-2-oxo-2H-chromen-4-yl)methylene]-2-(4-methylphenyl)-1,3-oxazol-5(4H)-one (CAZ-8) derivatives carbon dioxide sensing, in the second stage of the study determination of the acidity constant has been performed in the two polymer matrix and seven different solvents. Another part of study, the interactions between bovine serum albumin (BSA) and two substituted hydroxychromone derivatives of coumarin, 3-hydroxy-7,8,9,10-tetrahydro-6H-benzo[c]chromen-6-on (C-8) and 1,3-dihydroxy-7,8,9,10-tetrahydro-6H-benzo[c]chromen-6-on (C-11), were investigated by fluorescence quenching and UV-vis absorption spectroscopy.
