Globalization and terrorism: Financial resources of terrorism

In this study, the concept of terrorism in the axis of globalization is examined and the financial sources of terrorism are examined. The aim of the study is to highlight the development of terrorism with globalization and to examine funding sources as a means of sustaining terrorism.The study consists of four parts.The first part contains the content, purpose, importance and methodology of the study.In the second part, the concepts of globalization and terrorism were discussed together and conceptual and historical investigations were carried out.The third part deals with the reasons why terrorism needs financing, the legal and illegal sources that it needs, and the sources of income based on government support.In the fourth part, the size of terrorism which is examined in the axis of globalization has reached in 21st century is highlighed and the role of financial resources on the continuity of terrorism is examined.
