Abstract (EN)

Individuals have to determine the diversity of capital that they have or can use at the establishment stage of the enterprises in the sectors in which they will operate. Therefore, in this research, the differences in the levels of human capital, social capital, structural capital and financial capital usage of entrepreneurs established and operating in Gaziantep from 2015 to 2018 were examined. Within the scope of quantitative research, a questionnaire was applied to the entrepreneurs of 459 enterprises registered to Gaziantep Chamber of Industry and Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that social capital and financial capital usage levels differed statistically according to the types of entrepreneurs during the establishment phase. Trade entrepreneurs are industrial entrepreneurs; service entrepreneurs use social capital more than agricultural and industrial entrepreneurs. Trade and service entrepreneurs use financial capital more than industrial entrepreneurs. In the study, differences in socio / demographic and business characteristics of entrepreneurs' capital usage levels were determined and some suggestions were made to entrepreneurs and researchers.
