Abstract (EN)

In this study, the fundamentals of Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) thin film coating technique, usage areas and advantages of this method are discussed. In addition, 2 - [(2R) -2-hydroxy-3-indolin-1-yl-propyl] isoindoline-1,3-dione (SB-54) materials was chosen as LB thin film sensor element. SB-54 LB thin films were fabricated on quartz glass and gold-coated glass at different layers. Also, all LB films were characterized using UV-visible spectrophotometry and Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) measurement systems. SB-54 LB thin film coated onto gold-coated glass was exposed to six different harmful organic vapors using SPR system. The responses of SB-54 LB thin film sensor against to benzene, toluene, xylene, chloroform, dichloromethane and carbontetrachlorideorganic compounds were discussed.
