Abstract (EN)
In this study, growth performances were investigated in sea bass juveniles were fed by probiotic bacteria consist of 4 different types of probiant (Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus plantarum, Phodopseudomonas palustris and Saccharomyces cerevisiae). In this sense, in experimental group, probiotic bacteria were administered by spray to the pellet food (Group A) but no probiotic were supplemented in to control group (Group B). Growth, specific growth rate, survival rate, food conversion ratio, acid and alkaline protease activity were investigated during the 45 days of experiment. At the end of experiment, significant differences were found for weight, specific growth rate and alkaline protease activity (p<0.05), however there is no differences in terms of food conversion ratio, total length development and survival rate (p>0.05). As a result, probiotic supplementation positively affected growth parameters in sea bass juveniles.
